In Australia, Elle Macpherson was born Eleanor Nancy Gow on March 29, 1964. She was the daughter of Peter Gow and Frances Gow, and she was named Elle Macpherson after her.
Her father was a businessman and a sound engineer who was also the president of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, an Australian professional rugby league team. Her mother was a nurse, and her father was an entrepreneur and a sound engineer. During the time she was 10, she and her two siblings lived with their mother.

In 1999, she became the first person to have her face on a piece of legal tender when the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda used her face on a lot of stamps to pay for things.
She was part of the closing ceremony for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Other Australian icons were also there. She was also offered the job of an unofficial ambassador for the Australian government’s tourism department, which is run by the government.
As co-hosts for the Miss Universe 2001 pageant in Puerto Rico in May 2001, she and Naomi Campbell were in charge, and they did a great job!
Her Style Icon award was given to her in 2006.
She was named the Global Brand Ambassador for Revlon Cosmetics after she signed a three-year deal with the company in March of 2008. Since then, she has been in a lot of print and ad campaigns for the company.

In the early 1980s, she had a relationship with Billy Joel, and he was her boyfriend. Gilles Bensimon is a French fashion photographer and the Creative Director of Elle magazine. She first met him in 1984. In May 1986, the two were married. After three years, they broke up.
Her boyfriend was Arpad Busson, a French financier who lived in London. They had a relationship from 1996 to July 2005. The people who live together have two sons: Arpad Busson, born in February 1998, and Aurelius Cy. Andrea Busson was born in February 2003.
He is the owner of a hotel and a billionaire from Miami, Florida. She started dating him in early 2009. It was after a short break-up that they got together again in March 2013. They got married in July of that year. Couple: In 2017, they told the world that they were going to get a divorce.
She is a UNICEF ambassador, a “Smile Foundation” ambassador in Australia, and a “RED” ambassador in Europe. She is also a patron of the National Association for the Children of Alcoholics.
