Elle Macpherson is an Australian model, actress, TV host, and entrepreneur who has been called “The Body” because of her high height and athletic figure. Since 1986, she has been on the cover of the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” issue a record five times, making her a supermodel. She was on the covers of a lot of well-known magazines, like British and Australian Vogue, New York, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and New York. When she was younger, she walked the runway for big names like Perry Ellis, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Louis Vuitton. She also appeared in commercials for brands like Revlon and Omega. She has started a number of businesses and has been the creative director and main model for them. In 1999, she became the first person to have her face on a piece of legal tender when the twin-island nation of Antigua and Barbuda used her face on a lot of stamps to pay for things.
She was part of the closing ceremony for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Other Australian icons were also there. She was also offered the job of an unofficial ambassador for the Australian government’s tourism department, which is run by the government.
As co-hosts for the Miss Universe 2001 pageant in Puerto Rico in May 2001, she and Naomi Campbell were in charge, and they did a great job!

In the early 1980s, she had a relationship with Billy Joel, and he was her boyfriend. Gilles Bensimon is a French fashion photographer and the Creative Director of Elle magazine. She first met him in 1984. In May 1986, the two were married. After three years, they broke up.
Her boyfriend was Arpad Busson, a French financier who lived in London. They had a relationship from 1996 to July 2005. The people who live together have two sons: Arpad Busson, born in February 1998, and Aurelius Cy. Andrea Busson was born in February 2003.
He is the owner of a hotel and a billionaire from Miami, Florida. She started dating him in early 2009. It was after a short break-up that they got together again in March 2013. They got married in July of that year. Couple: In 2017, they told the world that they were going to get a divorce.
She is a UNICEF ambassador, a “Smile Foundation” ambassador in Australia, and a “RED” ambassador in Europe. She is also a patron of the National Association for the Children of Alcoholics.
